When you meet Sudhir, you will know he has lived and breathed yoga his whole life. He is a rare example of a humble, yet energetic and enthusiastic teacher with a mastery and knowledge of yoga. In his sessions you will explore the yoga and ayurveda tradition but also the scientific reasoning behind why you do yogic practices.
Over these three days of daily practice you'll go through a process of exploring traditional Pranayama practice deeply. In the morning sessions you’ll have your pulse check as per Ayurveda to check the condition of your constitution, explore therapeutic hatha yoga asana, pranayama (breathing) practices and meditation/relaxation practices. Sudhir will share techniques and tools that are specifically relevant to you and what’s going on in your own system.
Each afternoon will be a different yoga talk with Q&A given by Sudhir. Topics will include what pranayama is, why it is appropriate as "an ancient practice in modern living”, how to safely approach each practice with skill, and Ayurveda and its need and purpose in the western world. All topics will be inspired by yoga's ancient wisdom covering the Bhagavad Ghita, The Hatha Pradipika, Patanjali's Sutras and the Upanishads.

Best flights are from Edinburgh or Glasgow Airport if travelling to me in Scotland. Transport can be arranged where necessary at an additional fee.

Our retreat in a personal program is in West of Scotland a special and breathtaking location, where you can truly be at peace with nature and experience immediate calm to a greatly clear your energy and thoughts for the most positive outcome for all. I take a deep dive with you and greatly look forward to embracing and sharing lifelong tools to master your own senses and inner calm.
There are a variety of therapies to ease out any last remains of tension from your body, mind and soul.
NB. All sessions are intended to rejuvenate, restore, ground, replenish, calm and detoxify our systems. Aiding better digestion, breathing, energy levels and blissful mind. Addressing Neck pain, Back Pain . digestion and Stress each day.
Techniques used are from parts of the Yoga Therapy flow system and an age old lineage, spanning a century of research and so the quality of the Yoga on this retreat is more specific to our needs than generalized, more impactful and lasting and with holding a space we can unravel from the stresses our body carries on a daily basis.
The afternoon talks are directly from Ayurvedic self care principles and tools to take away with you for a more beneficial way of life, the way we look at lifestyle is very unique compared to the western culture and very well taught to make it easy to understand and follow. The afternoons are filled with restorative yoga and restorative and gentle breath work and meditation.
The whole experience should have you feeling your wellbeing , body and mind, have been enhanced and you feel much released from the stresses and strain of modern day living.
In these surroundings alone you feel uplifted and free.
Sharing all my wisdom in teachings and making the retreats accessible for anyone wishing to make a serious change in how they feel.

The bespoke Yoga room is warm and private, all the usual mats, bolsters, blocks and blankets needs for supporting your practice are provided.
